H-Block® - reinforced SIP panel

H-Block® is a patented, insulated SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) constructed with closed-cell polyurethane foam enclosed in a box-type structure and permanently bonded to a wood-based OSB facing.
This structural insulated panel is an example of high-quality, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly building materials based on experiences from Western markets. The panels are not harmful to health and do not contain any hazardous asbestos, glass, or mineral fibers. The H-Block® structural insulated panel serves both as a structural and protective material.
Lightweight yet highly durable, the H-Block® structural insulated panel serves as a construction material for load-bearing and/or protective walls, ceilings, roofs, and floors in residential single and multi-family buildings as well as public utility buildings. While primarily used as a load-bearing element, it can also be utilized as filling in wooden, steel, or reinforced concrete structures. Additionally, the H-Block® structural insulated panel is a top-tier thermal insulator, making it an excellent material for constructing energy-efficient and passive buildings.

The closed-cell polyurethane foam core of the H-Block® panel is the most thermally resistant insulation material among those available on an industrial scale for building insulation. Additionally, it is resistant to most organic solvents, acids, bases, insects, rodents, fungi, molds, water, and temperatures up to 230°C. It does not alter its insulation properties over time, does not age, and does not absorb moisture. Combined with OSB and the box-type structure, it forms a very strong composite material capable of carrying loads for buildings up to 4 stories, laying beamless floors, and constructing self-supporting roofs or roofs with a minimal truss structure.
The H-Block® structural insulated panel is manufactured on a production line under strictly controlled factory conditions, ensuring its high quality, adaptability to individual architectural designs, and making the construction process weather-independent. The panels are sufficiently rigid and stable, characterized by high durability. Due to their unique mechanical properties, H-Block® is used in the construction of walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs, providing durability and strength that surpass traditional methods of creating roofs or walls, and also ensuring impact protection. The structural insulated panel offers versatile applications, and its easy installation shortens the waiting time for project completion - which is particularly important for renovations.
As a result, the H-Block® structural insulated panel creates a very simple, durable, and energy-efficient building system, which enables not only reduction in investment costs but primarily operational costs of the building. There are two types of panels available: H-Block® and H-Blockplus®.

Types of boards
H-Block®

H-Block® is an insulated structural panel for constructing load-bearing walls and roofs with a reduced truss structure. The panel is custom-made for a specific project, with a width of up to 1.25 meters and a maximum length of 12.50 meters. It has two embedded OSB studs at a distance of 4-6 cm from the side edge. The space between the studs is tightly filled with PUR foam. Wall panels are connected using an LHB connector, also filled with polyurethane foam. This reduces the thermal bridging effect, creating a well-insulated, uniform surface for the wall or roof.

H-Blockplus®

H-Blockplus® is the first insulated structural panel with increased mechanical strength for constructing intermediate floor slabs, flat roofs, and pitched roofs. The panel, with a width of 1.25 meters, has two plywood studs embedded at a distance of up to 31 cm from the side edge. The space between the studs is filled with PUR foam. Panels are connected using an LHBplus connector filled with polyurethane foam. This reduces the thermal bridging effect, creating a well-insulated, uniform surface for the wall, floor, or roof. Thanks to the enhanced load-bearing parameters, it is possible to reduce the traditional structural elements required for construction (roof trusses, floor beams).

H-Blocksigma®

H-Blocksigma® is the first insulated structural panel with variable mechanical strength tailored to the needs of constructing intermediate floor slabs, flat roofs, and pitched roofs. The panel, with a width ranging from 0.3 to 1.25 meters, has two studs made of cold-formed steel profile "sigma." The space between the studs is filled with PUR foam, and the stud (sigma profile) is embedded in PUR foam. The spacing of the studs, the thickness of the panel, and the thickness of the sigma profile determine the span of the elements without the need for additional support.
H-Blocksigma® panels are connected using an LHB connector filled with polyurethane foam. This reduces the thermal bridging effect, creating a well-insulated, uniform surface for the floor or roof. Thanks to the enhanced load-bearing parameters of H-Blocksigma® panels, it is possible to eliminate traditional structural elements (roof trusses, floor beams).
