TECHNOLOGY
Houses in the Eneroo package are timber frame houses. Timber frame houses are known for their energy efficiency and quick assembly. However, our houses offer much more:
- The construction of walls, ceilings, and roofs consists of the highest quality dry softwood. All structural elements are cut to size and numbered according to the design. Experienced engineers ensured that each structural element has an optimal cross-section – this way, you don't overpay for oversized beams.
- The empty spaces between the rafters and wall studs are filled with thermal insulation mats made from natural wood fibers (known as wood wool). On the outside, walls and roofs are protected from cold, heat, and weather conditions using harder insulation boards, also made from natural wood fibers.
- As finishing panels for interiors, we use high-quality gypsum-fiber boards. These boards are renowned for their high load-bearing capacity. With just one screw, you'll be able to hang several times more weight than with conventional gypsum plasterboards.
To maintain the highest energy efficiency standard, gypsum-fiber boards are screwed onto a wooden framework. Within the framework, electrical installations (known as an installation wall) are safely distributed. As a result, there is a separation between the vapor barrier membrane and the finishing board and installations - you won't puncture the vapor barrier when screwing in the finishing boards. This ensures very good airtightness of the building. Airtightness of the building is essential for achieving high energy efficiency.
